Running back Trey Benson was absent from Cardinals practice on Nov. 27, putting his status in doubt for Week 13 against the Buccaneers.

Benson has been out since Week 4 with a knee injury. He had his 21-day practice window opened last Wednesday. The Cardinals can activate him at any point during that time or at the conclusion of it. If not, he reverts to injured reserve for the remainder of the season.

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals will not have Trey Benson for their Week 13 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Benson was ruled out alongside Will Hernandez and Walter Nolen by head coach Jonathan Gannon.

Cardinals receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. returned to practice this week after missing the last two games while recovering from appendicitis surgery.

Beachum, Clark, Demercado, Hernandez, Nolen and Taylor-Demerson were unable to practice for the second day in a row. Nolen has been ruled out of this week's game. Beachum didn't practice for two days last week, was limited on Friday and played every snap on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Arizona Cardinals running back Trey Benson (ankle) still hasn't played in a game since injuring his knee back in Week 4. The starting RB for the Cardinals, in the meantime, has been Bam Knight. It's still unclear when Benson will return.

There's no rush to get Benson back from a knee injury that's seen him miss six games to this point. If he's not activated by the end of his three-week window, he'll be forced back to injured reserve for the remainder of the year.

The Cardinals have plenty of intrigue at their skill positions, with Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey Benson both working through returns from injury.
