The WXII 12 First Warning Weather Team is tracking the latest on Hurricane Isaias.
Isaias is now a hurricane, it’s getting stronger, and it’s headed for the Gulf Coast. The National Hurricane Center said Isaias had 80 mph winds on Thursday morning after becoming a hurricane overnight in the southern Gulf.
From coastal Mississippi to the Florida Panhandle, storm surge of 5 to 7 feet, rainfall of 3 to 7 inches and wind gusts of up to 90 mph are expected.
