Detroit Fire Department was on the scene early Tuesday for a house fire in the 7400 block of Chalfonte Street. This is on the northwest side of the city, south of the Lodge freeway and west of Livernois Avenue. Firefighters remained on scene about 6 a.m. but there were no reported injuries at that time.

Firefighters responded to a fire on Wednesday afternoon at Midwest City Middle School.

There is no word on any injuries.
