COLUMBUS, Ohio — For the last four months, Shaun Evans has been at Nationwide Children’s Hospital waiting with his parents for a new heart. His family moved from Cleveland to get care in Columbus.
As far as running marathons goes, there’s very little left for Shaun and Shamus Evans to accomplish. The father-son tandem has completed the Boston Marathon, the Tokyo Marathon and plenty in between.
A crowd turned out to give a good send-off to a very accomplished father-son duo. The going-away party for Shaun and Shamus Evans was at City Line Bar and Grill on Western Avenue in Albany.
