A mass shooting at a family gathering inside a banquet hall in Stockton, California, left at least four people dead and 10 others wounded Saturday evening, officials said.

Law enforcement sources tell ABC News that an argument broke out between two people outside of Macy's on the second floor, and shots were fired.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem also said the Trump administration would resume the asylum process after dealing with a backlog of cases.

The shooting happened at the Central House Apartments shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday evening, Nov. 16, according to authorities.
