Currently, all national park visitors are subject to the same entry fee structure, but the Trump administration wants to charge foreign tourists more.

Trump's order instructs Interior Secretary Doug Burgum to "develop a strategy" to increase entrance and pass fees at national parks for non-U.S. residents. This includes hiking up the price of the America the Beautiful Pass, which covers entrance and day-use fees at all federally managed recreation sites, for international visitors.

Foreign visitors would be charged more to see national parks in the United States under the new executive order.
