Gov. Greg Abbott has scheduled a special legislative session for later this month to focus on, in part, improving warning systems for flood conditions.

At least 119 people are dead from the devastating flooding in the Texas Hill Country.

At least 119 people have been found dead in nearly a week since heavy rainfall overwhelmed the river and flowed through homes and youth camps in the early morning hours of July 4.
