Manny Machado is going to have some Padres company in Atlanta soon. Right fielder Fernando Tatis Jr. and righty reliever Jason Adam were named to the National League All-Star team on Sunday, as Major League Baseball announced the reserves and pitchers for the Midsummer Classic,

Not many players could be considered an All-Star while playing through a severe slump that has lasted more than two months. But Padres right fielder Fernando Tatis Jr. has been good enough and is a big enough presence that he will be on the National League All-Star team.

According to Padres broadcaster Mark Grant, as well as many fans, there's no debating the third base spot for the All-Star Game.
