America is close to clinching several trade deals ahead of a July 9 deadline when higher tariffs were due to kick in, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said.

Taking to his Truth Social platform late Sunday night, the president wrote, "Any Country aligning themselves with the Anti-American policies of BRICS, will be charged an ADDITIONAL 10% Tariff." He added that there would be "no exceptions to this policy."
