Been using poly to build my footings down for about 20 years. If done right, it’s quick, saves a ton of material, and keeps lumber cleaner for easier re-use. Make sure it’s tacked at approx 8” O.C. (Don’t hammer the tacker too hard or the staple just punch right through) *AND THE BIGGEST TIP: put a staple into the stakes below the forms. This ensures that the poly is fully bearing on the ground and avoids it getting ripped off when the concrete hits its. 😉 . . . . . . . #tricksofthetrade #trade
